Athlete: Jag Owner: Rick Whiting Date: Fall 2009 Event: Moncton Comment: Jag entered his first trial in Moncton at Masters agility and Q 'd' his first two standard runs. At our CAANS trial he got his last starters Q on the first day and moved up to Advanced in Standard. On his first standard run he got his first advanced "Q". I am very proud of the little guy.

Athlete: Archie Owner: Carol Hartnett Date: November 21 Event: Moncton Comment: Archie now has his CHAMPIONSHIP he got a few extra points at the Moncton show Nov.21, finishing up with a Best of Winners. He is now CH. Shana's Never Say Never

Athlete: Shep Owner: Ann MacLean Date: Nov 09 Event: Various Comment: This little BC/Sheperd/Lab mix has come a long way. Rescued from the backwoods of Cape Breton in 2003, he has become a great all around dog. In Agility, he has achieved more than I imagined: in 2 AAC seasons, he now has his ATChC title and Bronze award; and he's earned placements in 3 National events. He's my Superstar, way to go Dude!

Athlete: Rocky Owner: Richard Morris Date: October 17/18 Event: Masters Agility Trial Comment: Success is better when it's a family affair On the weekend of October 17/18 the Morris Clan travelled to Moncton for the Masters Trial and the New Brunswick air seemed to agree with the Brothers. Rocky became only the 2nd Boxer in AAC to ever achieve a Gold Award of Merit. Logan hit a triple !!!!!!!!! his Bronze Award of Merit, ATChC and Master Games Title. He is only the 4th English Cocker in AAC to reach Bronze.

Athlete: Paikea Owner: Gay Harley Date: Oct 18 Event: Masters Agility Trial Comment: Paikea achieved her Masters Jumpers Title under judge Sylvie Begin at the Masters Trial on October 18, 2009. Good thing for receiving certificates in the mail, because apparently her handler can’t count to 4.

Athlete: Izzy Owner: Shelley Buckingham Date: Aug 15 Event: Q-Ball trial Cloverdale BC Comment: Izzy qualified in 4 out of 4 runs at the Q-Ball trial held in Cloverdale BC on Aug. 15th giving her her AADC and AGDC titles.

Athlete: Kit Katt Owner: Wendy Rudolph Date: Oct. 3 & 4th Event: CKC Trial in Moncton Comment: Kit Katt made her agility debut at the CKC Trial. Katt went 4 for 4 in Novice B Standard, earning her Ag.N in her first time out! This girl is so much fun!! Kit Katt is now Ch. Wassookeags Kit Katt for Kare, Ag.N

Athlete: Brandy, Diva, Kelsey Owner: Veronica Chipman Date: September 2009 Event: Fetch Rally Trial Comment: My three girls all earned their Rally Novice Titles at the Belgian Shepherd Club trial at Fetch on Sept. 19. Kelsey earned a score of 100 in her last novice run. She and Brandy went on to get their first legs in Rally Advanced. You've been awesome, Kelsey, Feb. 18, 1997 - Sept. 27, 2009.

Athlete: Tannin Owner: Tara Doiron Date: Sept 2009 Event: Fetch Agility Trial Comment: Tannin got his ATChC!! Tannin got his ATChC!! Tannin got his ATChC!! He got his last Standard leg needed at the FETCH trial on September 15th under Judge Carolyn Dockrill. Tannin is the FIRST and ONLY RR to ever achieve this title and has also been named the most titled RR in Canada !! I knew he could do it!! YAY Tan!!

Athlete: Clark Owner: Karen LeBlanc Date: Sept 2009 Event: Various Comment: Karen is thrilled to report that Clark Earned his WC (Working Certificate) on September 19, 2009! He is now, Willowrose Man Of Steel WC He really did Fly like Superman!

Athlete: Tannin Owner: Tara Doiron Date: 2009 Event: CAANS Agility Trial Comment: Tannin is inching closer and closer to his ATChC He got his MSDC title this week-end!! Along with a Gamblers and Standard Q as well…. Way to go Tan!!

Athlete: Shiraz & Tannin Owner: Tara Doiron Date: 2009 Event: Halifax Kennel Club Comment: The RR’s were strutting their stuff the Halifax Kennel Club Show….both hounds went 3 for 3 (with all scores over 90) obtaining their RN titles on the weekend. Tannin was a big surprise getting two scores 98/100!! Way to go Tan!!

Athlete: Razamataz Owner: Cindy Mackeen Date: 2009 Event: Halifax Kennel Club Comment: Since Taz & I haven’t been competing in agility this summer, I needed to get him occupied with something productive, and Rally-O seems to be it! He made me proud this past weekend at the Halifax Kennel Club shows, earning HIC’s each day and his Rally Advanced Title! He’s now MBPIS Ch. Mersey Gunna Razamataz Ya AgNJ RA SGDC

Athlete: Henry Owner: Diane Dunlop Date: Aug 1/2 2009 Event: AAC 2009 Nationals Comment: Henry had a very good Nationals. He placed 8th in the second standard run and 10th in the steeplechase for his group. He placed 14th overall for the 10 inch specials category.

Athlete: Christie Owner: Barry Smith Date: Jul 12 2009 Event: Fast Trial Comment: Christie received her Bronze Award of Merit from Dan Yielding at the Fast trial on July 12th, 2009. Dan also gave me the judge's choice award for the best handling of the week-end with both Rocky and Christie-a good week-end for us.

Athlete: Sting Owner: Carolyn Dockrill Date: Aug 1/2 2009 Event: AAC 2009 Nationals Comment: Sting made the Top Ten in his division at #7.

Athlete: Paikea Owner: Gay Harley Date: Aug 1/2 2009 Event: AAC 2009 Nationals Comment: Paikea won a class in the very competitive 10” Specials Division. She placed first in Gamblers 2.

Athlete: Brandy and Diva Owner: Veronica Chipman Date: Aug 1/2 2009 Event: AAC 2009 Nationals Comment: Brandy and Diva made me proud at the 2009 Nationals. Brandy placed 3rd in a Jumpers, 7th in a Gamblers and 4th in a Standard run, coming in at #12 in her 10"Vet division. Diva had a 9th place in Jumpers, 9th in Standard and a 3rd in Jumpers. She finished just 2 points out of the standings at #ll overall in her 10"Specials division. I am so proud of them.

Athlete: Abby Owner: Sandie Ellicott Date: July 12 2009 Event: FAST Trial Comment: Abby achieved her last elusive gamble run at the FAST trial in Sussex, NB on July 12 2009. With that she finished four titles all at once - her Master’s Gambler’s title, her Master’s Games Dog title, her ATchC, and her Bronze Award of Merit. She is only the second Cardigan to have received an ATchC and the first to have achieved the Bronze. A few weeks ago she also achieved her Versatility Bronze another Cardigan first. I had already decided that the FAST trial would be her last full trial so this was a wonderful and moving way to finish off an exciting agility career. However she was never a quitter so I expect she will demand to do a Jumpers or Steeplechase run from time to time.

Athlete: Pixie Owner: Cindy Mackeen Date: July 11 2009 Event: Lady Slipper Kennel Club show in PEI Comment: Just a little over 2 weeks after her first birthday, Pixie won a Group 1st under Judge Jack Ireland. With this win she had enough points to earn her Championship. She then went on and won Best In Show! The next day she earned another Group 1st and a Group 3rd. She is now BIS Ch. Fwaggle’s Black Orchid.

Athlete: Paikea Owner: Gay Harley Date: July 7 2009 Event: Fetch Trial Comment: Paikea earned her AADC Title under Judge Rebecca Dunstan.

Athlete: Henry Owner: Diane Dunlop Date: May 30 and July 5 2009 Event: True North Agility and FAME Trials Comment: Henry received his Expert Jumpers Bronze at a FAME trial. At a True North Agility trial he earned his Expert Standard Bronze and his Bronze Award of Merit. All I can say is WOW! We never expected to get this far!!!

Athlete: Paikea Owner: Gay Harley Date: Apr 11 and June 7 2009 Event: CAANS - Truro and Red Rock - PEI Trials Comment: Two brags for the price of one. ADC in Truro in April (Stephen Dahr). SGDC in PEI in June (Claude Boisvert).

Athlete: Fiver Owner: Gay Harley Date: June 20 2009 Event: FAME Irishtown, NB AAC Agility Trial Comment: In one Gambler run under judge Shelley Price, Fiver earned his Bronze Award of Merit and Expert Gambler Bronze titles.

Athlete: Shiraz Owner: Tara Doiron Date: 27/28 June Event: Canning NS Comment: Shiraz finished her show career in style going Winner's Bitch twice and Best of Breed once with a Group 3rd!! She ended up with 8 points in one weekend!! Now onto the fun stuff!!

Athlete: Evil Owner: Carolyn Dockrill Date: 13-June Event: CAANS Agility Trial Comment: Evil got his Gold Award of Merit this past weekend at the CAANS trial.

Athlete: Molly Owner: Debby Avery Date: 2009 Event: Agility Comment: Molly received, from AAC, her ExS Bronze, ExJ Bronze, ExJ Silver, Ex St. Bronze, Ex St. Silver, Versatility award of Merit Bronze, Bronze award of Merit and her Silver award of Merit. She accumulated lots of Q's - my little girl!

Athlete: Marco Owner: Jacqui Brown Date: 2008 Event: Obedience Comment: Congrats to Marco, the Canadian National Australian Shepherd Association's Top Obedience Dog for 2008. This is Marco's third consecutive year to achieve this honor. Way to go Marco !!

Athlete: Sting Owner: Carolyn Dockrill Date: 29-March Event: Obedience Trial Comment: Sting achieved both OTCH X (Obedience Trial Excellent) & MOTCH (Master Obedience Trial Champion) titles with two HIT's as well as the proceeding Q's, all HIT's. Sting ROCKS!

Athlete: Rascal Owner: Marion Lane Handled by: Nadine Andrews Date: 09-March Event: Cobequid Dog Show Comment: Rascal completed his CD at the Cobequid Dog Show in March.09 with all HIC's Little River's Red Rascal CD, RA, AGDC, AADC

Athlete: Ajax Owner: Elizabeth Webber Date: Feb 14, 2009 Event: Halifax Kennel Club Obedience Comment: Ajax earned his CD. He's now Kylie's Presumed Innocent CD HT RN.

Athlete: Pixie Owner: Cindy Mackeen Date: 2009 Event: Introducing Pixie Comment: She is a toy Manchester Terrier and is now 6 months old. She puts Taz in his place every chance she can get! He loves his new little sister. She is another future obedience and agility star! She came to us at the start of December.

Athlete: Digger Owner: Cindy Mackeen Date: 2008 Event: CKC Agility Trial Comment: On Christmas Eve, I received a gift from Digger. It was his certificate from CKC for his Agility Excellent A title. Thank you, my sweet man.

Athlete: Razamataz Owner: Cindy Mackeen Date: 2008 Event: CKC Agility Trial Comment: Received a CKC certificate for Razamataz. It was for his Novice Agility Jumpers with Weaves title. No more free rides at the weave poles!
